Consulting Services
I work across two interconnected worlds: international development and circular economy transitions. What connects them is the same question, is real change happening, and for whom?
GEDSI MEL Design and Assessment
Most organisations working on gender equity, disability, and social inclusion already know their MEL system is not telling the full story. The targets track representation: numbers of women reached, people with disabilities counted, rather than whether experience or power has actually changed. I design GEDSI strategies that make inclusion analytically visible from the start, shaping how programmes are built, what they measure, and what they learn. I also conduct honest assessments of existing MEL systems; giving organisations a clear picture of where they sit and what it would take to close the gap.
GEDSI MEL framework design integrated from programme outset
Rapid assessments of existing MEL systems against inclusion and equity standards
GAP analyses across markets, climate, circularity, and GEDSI
Livelihoods and inclusive economic growth research
Policy analysis and evidence-based literature reviews
Best for: any organisation with a GEDSI commitment that wants to move from compliance to genuine integration, where inclusion shapes the evidence, not just the reporting.
Systems-Change Evaluation and Developmental Evaluation
Most programmes working on complex change struggle to demonstrate whether anything is actually shifting and standard monitoring frameworks were not designed to answer that question. I design and lead evaluations built for complexity, asking not just whether targets were met, but whether systems shifted, who benefited, and what the evidence says about why. The work is rigorous, honest, and designed to inform decisions; not just to document them.
Developmental Evaluation and portfolio-level Outcome Harvesting
Contribution Analysis and systems-mapping
Qualitative and mixed-methods designs
Key Informant Interviews across multiple contexts and languages
Rubric-based portfolio analysis for multi-year programmes
Best for: foundations, development finance institutions, and international NGOs managing multi-year programmes or portfolios where standard logframe approaches are missing what is actually changing.
GEDSI and Circular Economy Transitions
Circular economy transitions change supply chains, business models, and relationships with communities; but most measurement frameworks were not designed to ask who benefits from those changes, or who gets left behind. A transition can show impressive circularity gains while the people most dependent on informal waste economies, or those at the bottom of supply chains, experience no change at all, or worse. I bring a GEDSI lens to circular transition work, helping businesses and organisations build the evidence that their transition is genuinely equitable: to investors, to partners, and to the communities they work with.
GEDSI integration into circular economy MEL and impact frameworks
Circular economy evaluations and strategic advisory
Climate resilience and sustainability assessments
Evidence frameworks for investor reporting and community accountability
Cross-country analyses at the intersection of circularity and inclusive development
Best for: businesses at any stage of circular transition, and organisations working at the intersection of circular economy and inclusive development, who want social inclusion to be part of how they measure and demonstrate impact, not an afterthought.
